Our infant rooms serve our youngest friends, ages 4 weeks to 12 months. Infants enjoy the peaceful environment of their own building where they are welcomed by attentive, caring staff who focus on their individual needs.
Infant care includes feeding, mobility, gross motor movement, and creating positive social bonds.
Two separate classrooms allow plenty of safe, engaging space for the younger ones to explore and the older ones to be on the move, pull themselves up, and adventure around the space. Each baby receives an abundance of one-on-one attention throughout their day, as well as teacher-led group activities to promote discovery, encourage development, and foster social interaction. The infants’ days are filled with learning and growing through abundant vocabulary, bright colors, interesting textures, and captivating song and rhyme.
During snow or inclement weather conditions, our hours of operation will be updated via email, website, Procare,
and Facebook. We will always strive to be an open. However, adverse weather may affect how many staff we have on site and how many children we can provide care for. MELC will close if staff members are not able to make it in to work safely.
Please call the center to see if the program is open if you are not sure.
